Chris Hemsworth feels Hollywood 'suffocating' Liam after split with Miley Cyrus, vows to keep him in Australia
Liam Hemsworth has been spending time fixing his broken heart with the help of his brother Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky. Liam, 29, will be staying in Australia for a while as he tries to get over the split with his ex-wife Miley Cyrus. Chris and Elsa have been married for almost nine years now and have taken Liam under their wing. They are insisting that he stays clear of Hollywood for a while and takes a break.
As reported by Woman's Day, a source said the pair fears that Hollywood life is "suffocating" Liam and wants him to spend some more time in Australia. Chris and Elsa moved to Byron Bay in 2014 after living in Los Angeles for many years and reportedly understands exactly what Liam could be feeling.
The source said, "They know it because they've lived there, too." Liam went back to Australia when his marriage to 'Wrecking Ball' singer Miley Cyrus fell apart. Since then, he has been staying close to Chris and Elsa's house in Byron Bay. The couple's breakup was announced on August 10 when Cyrus released a statement.
According to Page Six, Liam was totally 'blindsided' by the announcement as he was still fighting hard for his marriage. Ever since the breakup, Liam has been keeping a low profile away from the spotlight. Cyrus quickly moved on from the relationship and was seen kissing Kaitlyn Carter in Italy.
Liam had taken to social media to share, "Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter... Peace and Love." Cyrus and Carter have also recently decided to split ways after their whirlwind romance but have chosen to remain friends.
