Chris Cuomo goes maskless and shakes hands at NYC club, slammed for hypocrisy after targeting Trump over masks

Cuomo was reportedly been with Brooke Shields's husband Chris Henchy, and 'was not social distancing'

Chris Cuomo was seen during the weekend in a New York City members' club not sporting a mask. He also walked around and greeted people, as per reported by people who were there at the time. The CNN host who had tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this year, had been recently called out by his apartment building management for not sporting a face mask in common areas. 

Sources who spoke to Page Six on Monday, October 26, said that the scoldings by the management did not change Cuomo's behavior over the weekend. They shared that he was at an unnamed members club without a mask and was even seen shaking everybody's hands. 

He had reportedly been with Brooke Shields's husband Chris Henchy. The insider shared, "He was not social distancing and was walking around indoors, shaking hands and greeting people without a mask. He was just hanging with Brooke Shields’ husband."

"It’s a double standard when his brother (Gov. Andrew Cuomo) is attacking the restaurant industry and implementing all these senseless rules," the insider added. The news comes after Cuomo was even threatened with a $500 fine for not wearing a mask in the apartment building. 

The letter had been sent to Cuomo on August 6 but was recently given to Tucker Carlson on Fox News. The letter stated that Cuomo had been seen not wearing a mask multiple times while in the building. The letter reads, "You have been observed entering and exiting the building and riding the elevator without the required face coverings."

"Even though staff members have asked you to comply with this requirement, you have refused to do so," the letter revealed. Cuomo has not addressed the letter at all. His behavior counters the laws his own brother New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has put in place in April. 

His behavior also contradicts advice that he himself has given on his CNN show where he has called out and criticized POTUS Donald Trump for not taking the pandemic more seriously. Both Cuomo and his wife Christina had been diagnosed with Covid-19 earlier this year. 

Many social media users have slammed Chris for the same and have taken to platforms like Twitter to comment. One such user shared, "Chris Cuomo’s such a liar! Tells everyone to wear mask and we see pics of Chris Cuomo’s out on the street Not Wearing A Mash. What a D. A. He needs to go huddle up with Joe Biden in the basement."

Another user commented, "WAKE UP NYC These brothers really believe they make their own rules. Chris Cuomo is threatened with a $500 fine by his apartment building for not wearing a mask despite lecturing his CNN viewers for months on their importance."

"What r u waiting 4 If he didn't wear mask indoors with others in the same building he should be scolded, it's straightforward. I dont take political sides like u! It's scary that some kids r smarter than u on this topic.u r in the risk group 2 based on age, foolish foolish man," shared yet another user who echoed the same sentiments.
