Top cop slams 'lenient' sentence given to former police inspector after hundreds of child porn images were found on his phone
The former police inspector was given a 16-month suspended sentence at the Wolverhampton Crown Court on February 14. He was also given a 10-year sexual harm prevention order
A chief constable has asked for one of his own officers to be put behind bars after he slammed the "lenient" suspended sentence that was given to the pedophile former inspector. 44-year-old Lee Bartram pleaded guilty to ten counts of making and distributing indecent images of children and one count of misconduct in public office. The charges that were laid out against him covered more than 450 images, including him filming a young boy while he was on duty.
Bartram, who is from West Bromwich, admitted that he "may have tried to touch a child". The former officer was given a 16-month suspended sentence at the Wolverhampton Crown Court on February 14. He was also given a 10-year sexual harm prevention order, the Daily Mail reported.
