Cher calls Trump a 'w****' over Syria withdrawal, asks Nancy Pelosi to 'kick his mammoth a**'
Cher has hit out at President Donald Trump for his decision to withdraw US troops from northern Syria and leaving its allies, the Kurds, to fend for themselves against the advancing Turkish armies.
This past Monday, October 21, she addressed the news that the Pentagon was considering leaving a certain number of US troops behind in Syria, but to protect its oil fields and not to help the Kurds, and called Trump a "w****."
"U.S. discussing proposal to leave troops around Syria’s oil fields... CAN'T PROTECT PPL, BUT WE CAN PROTECT OIL," she tweeted. "Trump MAKES MERCENARIES OUT OF BRAVE SOLDIERS FOR OIL. Trump's a w****. Nancy [Pelosi] Kick His Mammoth a** & Should Be PRES."
In a series of tweets she posted over the weekend, the 73-year-old singer, who has been one of the president's most outspoken critics, laid bare her thoughts on Trump's most recent foreign policy move and stated his actions were akin to promoting and tolerating ethnic cleansing.
"Trump promotes ethnic cleansing [sic]," she wrote. "This is same ethnic cleansing that allowed Turks to massacre 2 million Armenians, allowed Hitler to annihilate 6 million Jews. Now Trump invites Turks to torture & massacre out 'Kurd' allies [sic]."
She went on to warn that Trump's actions would bring ISIS and death back to the middle east, before bringing up the fact that he had access to the nuclear launch codes.
In a follow-up tweet, she linked an article which stated that Turkey was being suspected of committing war crimes after using white phosphorus -- which is self-igniting, burns fiercely and can ignite cloth, skin, fuel, and more -- against the Kurds and called Trump a "murdering f***."
"You are now a war criminal [sic]," she raged. "You bring ISIS back & all your roads lead to Putin. If GOP cowards smell blood... they'll drag you under a bus [sic]."
The tirade would not come as a surprise to those who follow Cher's Twitter, where she regularly attacks Trump and his administration.
MEAWW previously reported that in the wake of Special Counsel's Robert Mueller's comments on his report investigating possible Russian interference in the 2016 elections, the singer had called for Trump's arrest and seemingly expressed a hope that he would get sexually assaulted in prison.
"Been Giving IM7PEACHMENT MUCH Thought Throughout The Day,& I Would *love* 2 See trump Impeached, Brought 2 Trial, *locked* Up In *prison* & Toy Boy Big Bubba!!" she wrote, before later deleting it when the optics of it became apparent.
