Charlie Kirk uses Trump's visit to his granddaughter's school to shred Joe Biden, but Internet responds with one word 'Tiffany'

A heartwarming video showed former President Donald Trump visiting his granddaughter Carolina's school on Grandparents' Day

MIAMI, FLORIDA: Conservative activist Charlie Kirk seized upon a heartwarming video featuring former President Donald Trump at his granddaughter Carolina's school on Grandparents' Day to launch an attack on President Joe Biden, accusing him of failing to acknowledge his own granddaughter for four years.

In response, critics of Trump were quick to point out parallels with Biden's situation concerning his granddaughter Navy Joan Roberts, accusing the former president of similarly ignoring his daughter Tiffany Trump.

Joe Biden's refusal to acknowledge Navy Joan Roberts

In July of this year, President Biden publicly acknowledged his granddaughter, Navy Joan Roberts, for the first time. Navy is the estranged daughter of Biden's son, Hunter Biden, whom he had previously not acknowledged. The President and First Lady Jill Biden had faced criticism for repeatedly omitting Navy, claiming they only had "four granddaughters."

Notably, in December 2022, for the second consecutive Christmas season, Navy was excluded from the White House Christmas stocking display. In 2020, President Biden stated that he and Jill Biden had five grandchildren, forgetting about newborn Beau Biden and completely leaving out Navy.

During a White House "take your child to work day" event in April, Biden once again asserted he had six grandchildren, stating, "I have six grandchildren, and I’m crazy about them. And I speak to them every single day. Not a joke."

In June, Hunter Biden settled his Arkansas child support case with Navy's mother, Lunden Alexis Roberts, putting an end to a years-long paternity dispute. As part of the settlement, Hunter agreed to give his daughter some of his paintings, and Roberts withdrew her counterclaim to change their child's last name to "Biden."

Charlie Kirk praises Trump, attacks Biden

Kirk, the President of Turning Point USA, took to social media, posting, "President Trump visits his granddaughter’s school for Grandparents’ Day. Contrast that with Joe Biden who refused to recognize his own granddaughter for 4 years."

Supporters of Trump hailed the video as "precious" and "heartwarming," praising the former president's decision to take time off from the campaign trail to spend time with his granddaughter.

The footage showcased Trump, dressed in a navy suit, white shirt, and red tie, walking through the school corridors hand in hand with four-year-old Carolina, the daughter of Eric and Lara Trump.

The young girl eagerly guided her grandfather to her desk, a moment captured and shared by Lara Trump on social media.

"When top priority is showing Grandpa your desk at school #GrandparentsDay," Lara Trump captioned the video.

Critics respond on social media

Critics, however, were quick to draw attention to Trump's alleged neglect of his daughter Tiffany, drawing parallels with Biden's acknowledgment issues concerning Navy Joan Roberts.

Responding to Kirk's tweet, one critic remarked, "Charlie, that man doesn’t even know Eric and Tiffany exist." Another wrote, "Trump barely acknowledges his own daughter from his Second marriage." 

Others asserted that Trump's Grandparents' Day visit was merely a strategic photo opportunity.

"Wow!!! Trump must be really desperate for sympathy & a photo op!!" one comment read. Someone else added, "He’s literally never done this before he needed a photo op," suggesting that the timing of the visit might have been politically motivated. While another quipped, "All he has to do now is remember her name."
