Notorious prisoner Charles Bronson's wife Paula Williamson divorcing him after he demanded she 'wear catsuit to visit him in jail'
The couple had earlier had a massive falling out when a man buried his head in Paula's bosom when she was out on a wild night in Tenerife
Charles Bronson's wife Paula Williamson is reportedly going to be filing for divorce as she was humiliated at his request to have her wear a catsuit when she visited him the next time in prison. Williamson's marriage to one of Britain's most notorious criminals is supposedly "over once and for all."
The 66-year-old Bronson was moved from HMP Frankland in Durham which has held criminals such as the Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe and child killer Ian Huntley. Charles, who is now known as Charles Salvador, is currently based at HMP Woodhill located in Milton Keynes.
This was a positive shift for Bronson who was heard singing the Monty Python classic 'Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life' while he was in the back of the van and being transported.
However, when he told the former 'Coronation Street' actress to come to prison sporting a catsuit which he had a friend send to her, things started to go on a downward spiral. The couple had earlier had a massive falling out when a man buried his head in Paula's bosom when she was out on a wild night in Tenerife. The pair were able to bounce back from the incident and were exchanging flirty messages and calls.
As reported by Mirror, a source shared, "The marriage was back on and they were very much a couple. It was back to normal. They were happy. Some of the confrontation was down to frustration at Charlie being in Frankland and Paula being in Stoke. They exchanged words but were very much back on and close again. Paula is madly in love with him. And moving to Woodhill was a big boost. It was supposed to be a new life for him."
"But she was stunned when he got a friend to send round a catsuit and told her he wanted her to wear it for a prison visit. He loves showing his wife off. He'd want the other prisoners to see her in it. He'd really like that. But she's gone mad. She refused to do it. It's a very odd request. But it's the sort of man Charlie is. He replied by saying she was not welcome at an art show which is coming up," the source continued.
"She's not bothered anymore. That's it. It's over — once and for all. She's got an appointment with a solicitor this week. Paula will start divorce proceedings and go from there," the source said.
"She's looking forward to a new life now and he won't be playing a part in it. She's not bothered how he will take it," the source added. The source also shared that the divorce would be on the grounds of unreasonable behavior.
The couple tied the knot in November 2017 and have been together for around five years. It has been reported that Paula is "absolutely heartbroken" at having to divorce Bronson but she feels like she has no choice. The source added, "She's just had enough. Enough is enough. She loves Charlie a lot. She's stood by him. It's been very difficult having to see your husband in jail and she's done all of that."
