There will be no last dance for Chance the Rapper. The 26-year-old hip-hop sensation apologized to fans in an Instagram post on Sunday afternoon after announcing that he had canceled his upcoming Big Tour, which had originally been launched in support of his debut studio album, 'The Big Day'.

The Big Tour was set to kick off in September, but was then later postponed following the birth of the emcee's second daughter. Back then, Chance opted to clear his schedule in order to spend time with the latest addition to his family and announced new dates for the Big Tour in January 2020. However, on Sunday (Dec. 15th), he announced the entire tour was being canceled.

"Hey guys I’ve decided to cancel the Big Tour," Chance revealed. "I know it sucks and its been a lot of back and forth with reschedules and rerouting, but it’s for the best. I’m gonna take this time to be with family, make some new music and develop my best show to date."

The rapper also made heartfelt apologies to his fans, stating, "I’m deeply sorry to anyone with a ticket who has supported me this past decade by coming to a show and rocking out with me and I feel even worse for anyone who was planning on making this their first Chance concert. Thank you all for an amazing year, and a huge thanks to my team and family for being so strong through this whole year. I promise to come back much stronger and better in 2020 and hope to see some of you guys there. I truly love you and God bless."

Just one day prior, the 'No Problem' singer had been wowing fans with a superlative set at the sold-out Rolling Loud festival in Los Angeles on December 14. However, it appears that it was this headlining performance that would dash chances of the Big Tour happening in January. Apparently Chance's tour had originally been set to start on January 16, 2020, but due to a radius clause attached to his Dec 14th performance at Rolling Loud Los Angeles, he has had to cancel his tour dates.

"The L.A. show scheduled for 2020 is not happening due to a radius clause," Chance said in an Instagram post. "Basically, when I rescheduled my tour to spend more time with the family, I scheduled a date that isn't actually doable because I have a different L.A. play. My L.A. show is now Rolling Loud fest at the end of 2019."

While he encouraged his fans to come to his Rolling Loud set instead, he also promised that he was working to reschedule the arena tour date. Chance's upcoming 26-day North American arena tour will feature his brother Taylor Bennett and Lil Yachty as openers. Watch the announcement here.
