'Celebrity IOU' is turning out to be quite the home renovation show but there will be detractors. There's a section of viewers who have expressed how the Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott, have lost their charm and need to add colors to their design ideas.

The season premiered with Brad Pitt gifting a swanky backyard pad to his friend and makeup artist, Jean Black, followed by Melissa McCarthy who spruced up her Aunty Connie and Uncle Jim's kitchen and man cave. Except for a handful of skeptics, most fans love the idea of gratitude and how celebrities are using their resources to give something special to people they love.

The Scott brothers collaborate with celebrities in each episode, understand their needs and wants around a particular space, share their ideas and get those changes done in under three weeks.

On April 27, 'How To Get Away With Murder' star Viola Davis appeared on the show to join forces with the Scott brothers in an effort to gift a brand new kitchen to her life-long friend, Michelle, who is a mother and cancer survivor. Together, with the design specialists, the Academy-winning actress hoped to give her friend of 31 years an open floor plan along with a kitchen and room she can hang back in. "I wanted to do something on a big scale," she said and got down to tearing down the walls with the brothers.

The demo segments seem to be the fun bit of the show. Both Brad and Melissa enjoyed throwing heavy hammers through the walls. They were excited and totally invested in the process. In other news, Viola and Michelle went to The Julliard School together and were roomies.

"I understand the givers in the world—I really do," the 'HTGAWM' star shared in a statement and added, "Every once in a while, I think the giver can get exhausted and drained and depleted and needs to be reminded that they're a gift to people too. So, this renovation of Michelle's home is my gift to her."

Meanwhile, fans are upset about the missing colors in the renovation.

"I hope you use better colors and furniture," a fan posted, while another shared: "I love this show, but almost all their designs look the same."

"I agree. Sometimes getting them to put colors in a project is hard. Color to them is a darker gray," a viewer commented. "Zero interest in this show. Celebrities have lost their appeal and I’m also tired of the Property Brothers. HGTV really needs a new line up of shows. It used to be my go-to channel and I rarely put it on anymore except for Home Town," a viewer pointed.
