Todd Bridges is a 56-year-old American actor who started his career in acting at the young age of 6.  Being the son of Betty Alice Pryor, an actress, director, and manager, and James Bridges Sr., a talent agent, showbiz was in his blood. Early on he starred in shows like ' Little House on the Prairie', ' Roots', 'Fish', ' The Waltons', and more. But his role of Willis Jackson on the long-running NBC sitcom 'Diff'rent Strokes' was what made him a popular household name. His extensive career includes movies and tv shows like 'The Waterfront', 'The Climb', 'Curse of the Maya', 'That's My Boy', 'Here's Boomer', 'World's Dumbest', 'Everybody Hates Chris', 'Hello, Larry' and more. Todd Bridges' past as a drug addict and dealer

Things weren't hunky-dory for this star growing up as he revealed that he had been a victim of racism growing up. His journey to becoming a troubled actor was hastened when he was also sadly sexually abused by a family friend when he was 11. From the age of 15, the TV star started smoking marijuana which later progressed into hard drugs in his twenties when he battled crack cocaine and methamphetamine addiction and got jailed in 1989 for a murder attempt on a Los Angeles drug dealer. He went down the rabbit hole further when he even started dealing drugs himself for six years in order to support his addiction after his release in 1990, causing him to go back to prison. In 1992, Bridges was even fined $240 for carrying a concealed firearm. After years of drug abuse, he finally gave it all up on February 24, 1993, and has been sober for more than 25 years now. In recent times the actor keeps a low profile and enjoys his work behind the camera as a producer even sharing that producing is more fun than acting.
