VH1 in their official statement posted on their Twitter page said, “We have made the decision to cut ties with Ceaser Emanuel from Black Ink Crew New York. Since next season was close to finishing production, this decision will not impact the upcoming season”.

In the said viral video clip which had been shot from a Ring camera, it clearly shows the 43-year-old tattoo shop owner and actor badly hitting and striking the canine with a folding chair couple of times along with locking the dog in a cage and pushing it down a hill.

On this same, Emanuel's lawyer, Walter Mosley, does not dispute Emanuel is in the video, but tells People clearly that it is an old video wherein Emanuel was just stopping some aggressive dogs from attacking other animals. He said, “Ceaser is an avid dog lover and has many dogs and has had in his lifetime, many dogs and other pets. This was an unfortunate situation as I understand it, where there were a number of other aggressive dogs attacking smaller dogs and probably was a lapse of judgment as to how to appropriately break it up, break up that interaction."

Furthermore, Emanuel’s lawyer also added, “In some ways, what was not seen in that video, was him protecting the smaller dogs, he just likely didn't do this in the best way, so he's seeking assistance and help to make sure that as a dog owner, he's properly managing it, and understands how to interact in more healthy ways with all types of dogs and all of his dogs, but this is certainly a situation that he had addressed a long time ago. It's unfortunate that a video that's probably almost a year old or older surfaced and created such a disruption. It's something that we've addressed and been addressing for some time”.

TRIGGER WARNING: GRAPHIC ANIMAL ABUSE.

As soon as this news and video clip resurfaced, fans of the show became livid. "This guy is fkn disgusting and it’s about time he’s being exposed for his true self," said a fan. "Wow!!!! Wow!!!! This video is soooooo fucked up!!! His ugly ass gone beat the dog with the chair then, throw him in the cage & knock the cage down the hill. I’m soooooooooo fucking disgusted’," a fan wrote.

"First it was your daughter, now a dog! This another Gemini I ain’t claiming. Disgusting! Lock his ass up! Michael Vick got 21 months!!!!!," shared another user, referring to the allegations of physical abuse brought against Emanuel by his daughter Cheyenne Emanuel, 16, back in 2021. She accused her dad of physically beating her in October 2020. "You do not have to beat a dog into submission!! If you can’t make your pet respect you without hitting them then you’re not an animal lover. You’re an abuser," a user mentioned.
