She's stolen hearts and countless precious jewels for decades and now DC is all set to celebrate Catwoman's 80th year in print. Most of the world might know her as the lover of Batman but this new 100-page super spectacular will be celebrating the unique history and identity of this iconic character. Featuring stories by an ensemble cast of writers and artists, this is one celebration that you do not want to miss. So mark your calendars and prepare yourself for a journey through the colorful life of Gotham's premier cat-burglar.

The stories involved include a tribute to artist Darwyn Cooke, a tale about an exotic cat collector, a wannabe apprentice, and memorabilia from all of DC's alternate continuities. And of course, there will be the mandatory Batman action and we're guessing we might even see some tease of Tom King's upcoming 'Batman/Catwoman' series.

Writers working on the 'Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular' include Paul Dini, Ed Brubaker, Will Pfeifer, Ann Nocenti, Mindy Newell, and Tom King. Art for the comic book will be provided by Mikel Janin, Cameron Stewart, Emanuela Lupacchino, Jim Balent, Steve Rude, Tula Lotay, and Adam Hughes. DC has over 20 different variant covers planned for the landmark issue featuring the work of artists Adam Hughes, Sabine Rich, Joëlle Jones, Frank Cho, Jim Lee, Scott Williams, Stanley Lau, J. Scott Campbell, Gabriele Dell'Otto, Travis Charest, Shannon Maer, Natali Sanders, and JeeHyung Lee.

Here's the official solicitation for the book: "Our gal Catwoman is turning 80 next year (and looking very good, if we meow say), and DC is celebrating with nothing less than with a huge soiree, invite-only, packed with creators who mean the most to her and to whom she means the most! Stories featured in this 100-page spectacular include a tail—sorry, tale—that takes place at the end of the Brubaker/Stewart Catwoman run, in honor of artist Darwyn Cooke. Moreover, Catwoman is caught by an exotic cat collector, runs into a wannabe thief trying to prove himself as her apprentice, encounters a mystery involving memorabilia from alternate continuities, and of course some Bat/Cat fun."

'Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular' will be going on sale on June 3.
