Cat found buried under a mountain of snow in 'frozen and unresponsive' state recovers thanks to vets' efforts
Few would have given Fluffy a chance at survival after she was found with her fur matted by massive chunks of ice, but the feline would pull through thanks to some amazing vets!
If cats do indeed have nine lives, then one cat in Montana almost definitely used up one of hers to miraculously escape the clutches of death. Fluffy, a cat from Kalispell, Montana, was found buried under a mountain of snow by her owners on January 31 after she had previously gone missing, and was described as being "essentially frozen and unresponsive".
Fluffy found herself in the predicament because of the cold wave that gripped the country over the past two weeks, with ABC News reporting that the city had received 16 inches of snow last month and was experiencing temperatures of between 30 degrees Fahrenheit (-1 degrees Celsius) and 17 degrees Fahrenheit (-8 degrees Celsius).
