Carly Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, called out President Donald Trump on Wednesday, November 18, for refusing to concede the presidential race to President-elect Joe Biden and slammed him for being an "inadequate man who lacks the mental faculties necessary for the job."

"Inadequate men in big jobs are always dangerous. President Trump has cemented his legacy as an inadequate man who lacks the mental faculties and strength of character necessary for the job. How many others will prove, by saying and doing nothing, that they too are inadequate?" she wrote.

However, her comments did not sit well with some social media users who pointed out that Fiorina did not exactly excel in her job leading a Fortune Top 20 company during her tenure. "If anyone knows what it means to be inadequate in a job, it's the woman who ran HP into the ground," one user wrote while another noted, "Employees of Hewlett-Packard would like to add that women in high positions can be inadequate as well."

A third simply commented, "You ruined HP." A user went into a bit more detail. "Inadequate people in top jobs...perhaps...how did you tenure at HP go? Poorly. Failed leaders talking about leadership is like talking to shipbuilders of the Titanic about shipbuilding. Always watch out for the iceberg, Carly," the user wrote.

Fiorina also has people sharing her sentiment. "Omg I’m agreeing with Carly Fiorina. 2020 is really wild," one of them said while another shared, "Looks like almost all of them in the GOP." One more remarked, "Carly knows where to hit where it hurts. Good. Plus, it’s true." The next wrote, "Stormy Daniels said a long time ago Trump was inadequate from the start and he never finished anything so it now seems she was right."

This was not the first time that Fiorina had spoken out about her disapproval of Trump. Fiorina, who was a Republican candidate for president just four years ago, and was briefly Ted Cruz’s prospective running mate said back in June that she was going to vote for Biden because she wanted Trump to go. “I’ve been very clear that I can’t support Donald Trump,” she said in an interview with The Ticket. “And elections are binary choices.”

She explained that voting for the right candidate, even if he did not belong to the political party they support, was a decision that Republicans needed to struggle and come to terms with if it meant getting Trump out of office.

“As citizens, our vote is more than a check on a box. You know, it’s a statement about where we want to go, and I think what we need now actually is real leadership that can unify the country,” she said. “I am encouraged that Joe Biden is a person of humility and empathy and character. I think he’s demonstrated that through his life. And I think we need humility and empathy everywhere in public life right now. And I think character counts.”
