Cardinals blame "homosexual agenda" for rampant child sex abuse in Catholic church
Raymond Burke and Walter Brandmüller said that the institution's sex abuse troubles are part of a greater crisis fostered by the “homosexual agenda” and a “climate of complicity"
Two cardinals have said that rampant sexual abuse in the Catholic Church is because of the "plague of the homosexual agenda" that is spreading through the denomination, according to reports.
Cardinals Raymond Burke and Walter Brandmüller, in an open letter to the presidents of bishops on Tuesday, wrote: "We turn to you with deep distress! The Catholic world is adrift, and, with anguish, the question is asked: Where is the Church going?”
The pair also said that the institution's sex abuse troubles are "only part of a much greater crisis” fostered by the “homosexual agenda” and a “climate of complicity," according to the National Catholic Register.
