Cardi B takes Joe Biden to task over decaying American cities, Internet says they're all preparing for Gavin Newsom
BRONX, NEW YORK: Rapper Cardi B is deeply concerned about the sweeping budget cuts in New York City that will affect NYC's police department, schools, sanitation, and more. The 31-year-old harshly criticized the proposed budget cuts during an Instagram live. She even called out President Joe Biden for neglecting the decaying cities while funding wars.
Her livestream was later reposted on social media and sparked an intense discussion.
Cardi B's outburst comes after NYC Mayor Eric Adams unveiled the first round of the budget cuts on November 16, citing the migrant crisis.

Cardi B calls out leaders for budget cuts on essential departments
The Grammy Award winner was furious over the billions of dollars in budget cuts that could affect public safety. Before delivering the message, she said, "If something happens to me, it's because I'm speaking truth…"
"120 million budget cut on schools, libraries, police department and sanitation, b***h New York is already f*****g super dirty," the rapper said. "How is there 100 million dollar budget cut in New York City for f*****g schools, library, police safety, and sanitation, yet Joe Biden is talking about "yeah, we can fund two wars."
According to the Department of Education, there would be a $120 million cut to pre-K and 3-K programs. The next five classes in the police academy are canceled, and the number of police officials will also reduce from 33,541 to about 29,000 in the fiscal year starting July 2024.
Cardi B slammed the officials, questioning them about her family's future. "What's going to happen to my nieces, what's going to happen to my nephews, what's going to happen to my cousins, my aunts, my friends that are living in the hood," said the 'Bodak Yellow' rapper. "I'm from the Bronx, I don't want to see my s**t affected."
According to a CBS report, there will be a $5.5 million cut to sanitation, increasing the concerns of NYC turning into a dirty and potentially dangerous city.
"Everybody be like "New York is dirty," and it is dirty, and we're going to get even dirtier with the f*****g budget cut," the singer lashed out.
She continued speaking about her worries over the likely upcoming sanitation issues. "Crimes are gonna go through the roof because there is a police safety budget cut and on top of that there's a sanitation f*****g budget cut so that means we're gonna be drowning in rats."
She also warned that other states would also face similar budget cuts shortly. "Mayor Eric said it, there's a budget cut going on in New York and little by little it's going to go in y'alls states."
"The mayor says $120 million budget cut, and trust me, if they're making a big a** budget cut in New York City, watch it's going to start going to your state. We can't fund these wars, we can barely f*****g fund this country," Cardi B added.
