Bride asks guests to pay $1,000 to attend dream wedding, breaks up with fiance after getting just eight RSVPs
A bride-to-be has shared that she had to resort to canceling her extremely "extravagant" wedding after her wedding guests refused to pay 1,500 CAD (Canadian dollars) each to attend the ceremony. The Canadian bride known as Susan was going to wed her childhood sweetheart in a lavish and fancy wedding estimated to cost 60,000 CAD. The couple resorted to calling off the wedding only four days before the event as they struggled with their finances.
The mother of one took to Facebook to blame her friends and family for the disintegration of their relationship and went on a long and emotional rant. The post read, "Dear friends, it comes with great sadness that I am announcing the cancellation of the wedding. I apologize for canceling only four days beforehand".
