'Camp Getaway': Fans call Adam Mizrahi 'narcissistic prick', compare Claire Sorrels with Simon Cowell
Bravo's 'Camp Getaway' premiered on Monday and fans have already picked out people they are not going to like so much this season.
Adam Mizrahi and Claire Sorrels seem to have gotten a shaky start with the viewers. They have become stars of the show already but not in such a nice way.
Adam has been around for a few years at the camp and therefore, he knows his ways around it and can afford to twist the rules to his liking. However, women who have arrived at the resort as part of the weekend crew seem to like him despite having such a laidback attitude, especially Randall Klein. Neely Fortune, a former beauty pageant winner, too had taken interest in the guy but when she saw he had a not-so-ambitious approach towards work, she gave it up.
Meanwhile, Claire, a senior director at the camp, has found herself online haters for her strong reaction to one of Neely's tasks. When the guests had asked for slices of cake, Neely readily obliged without considering Claire's prior instruction, according to which the cake was to be served after the entertainment was over.
In a fit of rage, Claire called Neely and gave her an earful, driving her to tears. This upset her so much, she ditched her work to go and sleep in her room.
Meanwhile, fans are questioning Adam's hotness quotient.
"If Adam's role on the show is to be the hot one, shouldn't he be hot? #CampGetaway," a viewer asked, while another shared: "I’m so not attracted to Adam #CampGetaway." "So Adam is basically Carl from #Summerhouse....another narcissistic prick who thinks he’s gods gift to women......f***k off......#CampGetaway," a user tweeted.
Fans are also seemingly displeased with Claire, as they were really taken aback by the spiel she gave Neely for disobeying her order.
"Claire is worse than the Below Deck chief stews. She could have handled that situation differently," a viewer expressed, while another posted: "#CampGetaway Claire needs to learn how to speak to and manage people. Not acceptable.
