Cameron Boyce made a place in the hearts of Disney fans with his character Luke on the show 'Jessie', and later with the film 'The Descendents', as well as it's sequel 'Descendents: Wicked World'. Last year, the young star died in his sleep due to complications of epilepsy. Today would have been his 21st birthday, and fans took to Twitter to remember him. "Rest in peace Cameron Boyce, thank you for giving me joy when I'm down," wrote a fan.

"Today, Cameron Boyce will have been 21. happy birthday, cam," another fan tweeted. Fans wrote that his films and shows had affected them deeply, and they were still not able to come to terms with his death. "Happy birthday Cameron Boyce I normally don’t do stuff like this but your death truly affected it like it was personal. You did so much in your short life and I’m so sad it was cut off by something uncontrollable. You left when we needed you the most, rest in power king," a fan tweeted.

Others wrote how they owed their childhood to him, and had grown up watching the show 'Jessie'. "happy 21st birthday cameron boyce the world misses you and your light everyday,"  a fan tweeted. "You’re so special Cameron Boyce! The world loves you so much! Heaven has the most beautiful angel celebrating his birthday right now. Dance hard and play hard up there! We love you so much!" a fan wrote.

Other fans wrote that they still couldn't believe that he had passed away, and that the tweets were making him upset. His 'Jessie' co-star Karan Brar requested fans to please donate to the Cameron Boyce foundation. He also wrote an emotional message to fans, "Hey Twitter I need your help passing this message around... Tomorrow would’ve been Cam’s 21st Birthday. In his honor please consider donating to The Cameron Boyce Foundation - we're hoping to raise 50K with your support!"

Boyce had also done voice acting for several projects, including Jake in 'Jake and the Never Land Pirates' and Herman Schultz in 'Spider-Man'. He died on July 6, 2019.
