'I'll f**k you up!': California man fights off 2 shoplifters at Walgreens in SHOCKING video
A frustrated Walgreens customer decided to take matters into his own hands when he saw a man shoplifting medication bottles into his backpack. The California man, only identified as Kevin, took on two shoplifters in the incident from March, and even asked a bystander to record the incident on his phone. The customer said he took matters in his own hands because he was sick of the brazen thefts that were happening in northern California.
According to KGO-TV, Kevin said that he wanted to "make an impact" and wanted to "make this happen".

According to the reports, Kevin gave a customer his cell phone and instructed them to take a video of what would happen. The alleged shoplifter, who is sporting a grey sweatshirt, can be seen on camera with Kevin standing on top of him. As soon as Kevin locks him in a position on the ground, the shoplifter yells out, asking to be left alone. In the video, Kevin can be heard shouting for onlookers to call 911.
Kevin can be heard snarling at the criminal, "I am way bigger than you, and I will f*** you up! I am placing you under citizen's arrest! "
Kevin additionally informed the suspect that criminals like him were to blame for the rising cost of living.
After more than two minutes of fighting, the suspect began yelling for a friend, according to KGO. According to the station, Kevin allegedly thought that the shoplifter was "fibbing." The suspect, though, wasn't lying. Soon after, a man in blue approached the scene of the struggle. The second attacker came behind Kevin and tried to get him in a headlock, according to KGO. "Is that your boy?" Kevin can be heard mockingly asking the alleged shoplifter in the footage.
Kevin effortlessly stopped the second criminal too. "I picked him up by the groin and threw him to the ground," he said. Unfortunately, according to the station, this altercation ended with the suspects scurrying to their waiting getaway vehicle.
According to police, when onlookers attempt to halt crimes like theft, they put themselves at risk of legal action and potential charges if the perpetrator is apprehended. KGO added that many large firms are reluctant to cooperate with an investigation for this very reason.
According to the station, despite the police reporting that the stolen goods from the Walgreens outlet were recovered, the retailer decided not to press charges.

In a statement, Kevin told KGO, "I could have been charged with assault and may be charged with assault. It's infuriating. We're all realizing it in Northern California — little, soft cities like this." Upon being asked if he would do something like this again, he said that his mom and friends would "kill" him, but he would still do it all over again.
