Marissa (Geneva Carr) hasn't had the best marriage. In the previous season of 'Bull', she had opened up to Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) about her failed marriage. We saw Marissa talking to a therapist about her husband's impotency and how she took the fall for it. She tearfully admitted that she's still going through the turmoil. However, it turns out that there might be silver linings awaiting her.

In the latest episode, she accidentally gets in touch with an acquaintance from school who she used to have a crush on. Marissa’s mother used to get him to drive her to school. He was older than her but she never told him how she felt and so she finds herself remembering the good old days.

After a few glasses of wine, she ends up joining the school group online where he's a member, but the only problem was that he's a member of the juror that the TAC had assembled for a rather complex case. This poses an ethical conflict, and Marissa had to tell Bull and Chunk because he was handling the case. They lose a good juror as Marissa had been scrolling through social media while drunk. Nevertheless, they win the case.

The good news is, at the end of the episode, Marissa gets a message from him and it seems like she might just get the happy ending she was looking for. "I'm all for Benny moving his career along. I hope TAC, his place of employment, can survive being looked at with a fine toothed comb. Marissa needs somebody steady in her life. Chunk is growing in his job. #Bull seems to be calmer and as drama free than he's ever been. Great job," a fan tweeted, referring to the episode.

We hope! Meanwhile, Benny is considering the offer to run as DA and fans are heartbroken as they worry he might be leaving the show. Benny has been integral for a long time to the show and the TAC could not have solved many of their cases without his expertise. It remains to be seen if he stays or leaves.

'Bull' airs on CBS on Mondays at 10 pm.
