Spoilers for 'Bull' Season 5 Episode 1 'My Corona'

'Bull' is back on CBS with Season 5 and after a long hiatus as the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic shut down production of all shows and films across the world. Much like other shows, 'Bull' opted to focus on coronavirus as the main theme and the season premier saw Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) and his TAC team try to adjust to what has been dubbed the new normal. For Bull, the lockdown period is tumultuous as he fears for the future.

The episode sees a case that they just cannot win and in the end, it is revealed that Bull was dreaming. It was a bad one as the team fails with each move even as Bull tries to get hold of the situation. In many ways, the season opener sheds light on the impact of the pandemic on people's lives. Coming back to the final scene, Bull was shown to be recovering from a serious fever and Benny Colon (Freddy Rodriguez) says, "your fever broke," while also adding the doctor took a swab test.

Does this imply Dr. Bull had Covid-19? Fans are of the opinion that he might have caught the virus. "Bull has covid doesn't he #bullcbs@BullCBS#bull," wrote one of the fans while catching the final minutes of the episode. One of the fans also asked if he was hallucinating. "Ok Ok #BullCbs is giving me COVID vibes. Is he hallucinating??" read the tweet.

It does appear that he indeed had the coronavirus considering the episode title too read, "My Corona'. Supplementing this theory is Benny's words about being tested. That said, it could be way too much speculation as well considering he could have caught a bad dose of the flu. Nonetheless, the imaginary case will be a relief for Bull, and come next week, we can actually look forward to seeing a solid case and the TAC team in action.

What are your thoughts on the storyline of Bull maybe having the coronavirus?

'Bull' Season 5 airs Mondays at 10 pm ET on CBS.
