'Got what he deserves': Bubba Wallace walks up to Kyle Larson and SHOVES him after NASCAR playoff crash
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace ran straight for reigning champion Kyle Larson and attempted to start a fight after a wreck at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 17. In the first race of the third round of the playoffs, Wallace had led 29 laps and had undoubtedly possessed a quick car. Larson was eliminated from the playoffs last week while Wallace was unable to advance because of the crash.
When Kevin Harvick, who was in the middle of the group, slipped out of contention, Larson attempted a three-wide pass and slid up the track against Wallace. Larson pushed Wallace's Toyota into the wall with his Chevrolet after Wallace refused to move to make space for him. As Larson's car approached the curb, Wallace looked to purposefully hook him in retribution before bouncing back down the track. In the heat of the moment, Wallace got out of his car and charged at Larson with continuous shouts. He began shoving the shorter driver when he reached striking distance. Larson attempted to turn away and raised his arms many times to prevent the shoves but Wallace threw multiple hits until a NASCAR safety official separated the two.

Meanwhile, the crash also put a stop to Christopher Bell's race because it sent Larson spinning into Bell's path. Bell had won last Sunday at Charlotte to receive an automatic entry into the round of eight.
Wallace insisted that he didn't purposefully harm Larson, but Bell and Larson believe it was an act of retaliation, according to Daily Mail. NASCAR posted a video of the crash on Twitter, which soon spammed the feeds of petrolheads. One defended Bubba by saying, “Larson thinks he can get away with anything he wants. He’s wrecked so many people this year. Finally got what he deserves." Another said, "The red flash on the right front just after hitting the wall makes me think there was a puncture, or a tracking or suspension failure. Very likely the driver of 45 wasn't in full control after that." One person thought otherwise, "Park Wallace for a few races, hung a left into Larson and took out a playoff driver who had a chance to win."
Someone threw a neutral opinion into the mix by stating, "I love bubba but i can’t defend for that. He got shoved in the wall but the retaliation wasn’t a bad choice later in the race would’ve been fine but he just killed his car, larsons car and almost bells car. First was larsons fault second was bubbas fault." One user commented, "Ill wait before I pass judgment. We know these cars are fragile, they breaking steering links all the time and the wheel looks like it wasn't turned. But if he did turn into him, not a good look my guy!"
