MOSCOW, IDAHO: More than a month after the horrifying killings of four University of Idaho students, Bryan Christopher Kohberger, the suspect, was identified and detained. On November 13, Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves were all fatally stabbed with what is believed to be a J-shaped dagger. Since Kohberger's arrest, social media has gone tizzy and are inducing numerous theories about the case.
The web sleuths are tapping into the court-provided affidavit and other sources to create a blueprint of the accused's murder timeline. Recently few Twitter users researched the case and created a timeline that shows the suspect, Kohberger, "murdered" the four students within 10 minutes.

A Twitter user wrote, "Very frenzied. According to the affidavit, he parked the car at 4:05 am. 2 or 3 minutes to get in the house? He did the 4 murders in under 10 minutes. The whimper and thud from Xana's room were heard at 4:17 am, then 3 min later, he was in the car speeding away by 4:20." Another user investigated the timeline and wrote, "Same thing I said. The DoorDash driver pulled up at 4 am. The girl was on Tik Tok at 4:12 am. Then the security camera picked up noise at 4:17 am. All that happen right after each other and thru (sic) all that Bryan snuck in the house." Further, a third user speculated about the timeline and wrote, "So 1 victim was awake, door dash delivered and on tic tok around the same time Brian was 'stealthily' killing 4 adults and walked by a 'frozen in fear' roommate who didn't call anyone until noon the next day...wtf."

However, there is no formal confirmation of the details mentioned above. Online detectives have made numerous such conjectural statements since the murders. But up to this point, Moscow PD has kept the case very confidential. Essential details and the evidence acquired by the police recently came to the public's attention when the sealed affidavits were made public in court.
Timeline according to affidavit
Prior to the police affidavit's release on Thursday January 5, authorities stated that they thought the four students were killed inside their off-campus Moscow residence on November 13 between three and four in the morning. Now the police believe all four students were slain between 4.00 am and 4.25 am. According to the document, the time period of one hour has since been shortened to 25 minutes. The police now think Kernodle was still alive at 4.12 am because phone records show she was using TikTok, which suggests that she was probably still awake, as reported by The Washington Post.
About Kohberger's arrest
Kohberger, a 28-year-old PhD candidate in criminology, was captured on Friday morning during a SWAT raid at his parents' Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, home. Police seized a white Hyundai Elantra that matched the one shown on the home's CCTV. Four counts of murder and one count of felony burglary were officially laid against him. This case has a gag order that a judge issued. Latah County Magistrate Judge Megan Marshall reportedly gave the order on January 3, 2023, with the restriction that neither the investigators nor the attorneys on either side could publicly discuss the current case.
