'Brutal Bridesmaids': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about Lifetime's revenge drama
Lifetime’s 2021 schedule includes a variety of new movies that are set to enthrall the viewers with their engaging content and dramatic storylines. To mark the season of love, the cable network unveiled a new slate of movies under the category “Wicked Revenge” starting February 11. One of the movies featuring under the 2021 slate is none other than ‘Brutal Bridesmaids,’ a feature film about a group of friends and how they let jealousy get in the way which ultimately ruins their friendship.
The story revolves chronicles the journey of Jessica (played by Zoila Garcia) and her engagement to a successful businessman named Michael (played by Kevin A. Walton). Jessica calls up her five best girlfriends to be her bridesmaids. However, things get ugly when Jessica finds out that one of her bridesmaids might not have good intentions and is trying to ruin her special day.

Release date
The movie will be premiering exclusively on Lifetime on February 26, 2021, and will be a part of the network’s 'Wicked Revenge' collection.
Plot
Helmed by Stanley Rowe, the upcoming movie from Lifetime tells the story of Jessica and her engagement to Michael.
The official synopsis reads: “After becoming engaged to Michael (Kevin A. Walton, Sistas), a handsome and successful businessman, Jessica (Zoila Garcia, Shiny New Things) selects her five best girlfriends to be her bridesmaids. However, when the group gets together, they find themselves letting old wounds and jealousy get in the way of bonding as they all compete over Jessica’s friendship. When mysterious accidents and illnesses start to inflict the group, Jessica fears one of her bridesmaids may not have her best interest at heart.”
With each of her bridesmaids having their reasons as to why she shouldn’t get married to Michael, Jessica must determine which of her so-called friend is trying to sabotage her special day before someone loses his or her life.

Karlee Aldridge
The actress, who plays the role of Binky in the movie, has been a part of the industry since 2009 and has featured in various projects. She started her career with a small role in the movie ‘Fired Up!’ In 2011, she featured in one of the episodes of the highly popular show ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ After making appearances in a variety of projects, she got a chance to work with Dwayne Johnson in the hit TV series ‘Ballers.’ She played the role of Cassie in the show’s first season and featured in two episodes.
‘Nashville’, ‘Devious Maids’, and ‘Being Mary Jane’ are some of the other projects that she has appeared in.
Zoila Garcia
Garcia is a Cuban-American actress and a motivational speaker who recently became a part of Hollywood by doing cameo appearances in a couple of recent shows. The dancer-turned-actress made her debut appearance in season three of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ where she played the role of a Fontainebleau Dancer.
Kevin A. Walton
Kevin A. Walton plays the role of Michael in the upcoming film ‘Brutal Bridesmaids.’ Walton has a history of being an integral part of many TV shows in the recent past and has made a name for himself by doing a wide range of roles in his career so far. However, his moment of glory came in 2010 when he appeared on ‘Beach Heat Miami’ and garnered universal acclaim for his portrayal of C-Train in the acclaimed series.
Apart from acting, Walton has also written the screenplay for ‘Fractured Minds’, a short film about a couple who is taken hostage by a psychotic killer. The 28-minute short film received acclaim and premiered in many film festivals.
Amanda Diaz
Diaz started her journey in the industry as a key makeup artist in several short movies and then forayed into acting. Apart from acting in various short movies and TV shows, Diaz also serves as a producer in a couple of upcoming projects like ‘Welcome: A Travel Series’ and ‘The Iron Ceiling’.
Diaz is playing the role of ‘Sloan’ in Lifetime’s ‘Brutal Bridesmaids’.
