Bronx couple kills roommate who blasted loud music to drown out their fighting
A young couple from Bronx has been accused of murdering their roommate who blasted loud music, only to drown out their noisy arguments. The pair includes a 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old-woman whose identities are yet to be revealed. Police have also not released the identity of the victim, who was 29 years of age.
A similar incident was reported last year in Arizona where 35-year-old Brett Daniel Puett killed his 64-year-old female roommate, before dumping her body in a storage unit. Aaron Beasley, a 20-year-old Tennessee linebacker, was charged for abusing a six-month-old kitten that belonged to his girlfriend's roommate. He brutally abused the baby animal and locked it in a toilet bowl. Meanwhile, the crime rates in New York City are at an all-time high, presenting Mayor Eric Adams with a serious challenge.

The latest incident happened inside a building on Perry Avenue, near East 205th Street iN Norwood, Bronx. On Friday, March 4, early morning, around 3 am, the victim heard the couple fighting loudly inside the apartment. Disturbed by their noisy arguments, the victim decided to turn on loud music to compete with their shouting.
However, this enraged the couple and they decided to take it out on the 29-year-old man. They reportedly got into a heated argument with the victim before things turned physical and took a turn for the worse. In a fit of rage, the couple stabbed the victim brutally in the neck and chest, eventually killing him.
Later, police officers who responded to the scene found him unconscious and unresponsive. EMS personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. It is, however, not clear who exactly called the police to inform the crime.
His identity was not revealed to the public since the individual's family is yet to be notified. Police have refused to divulge further details on the shocking crime as an investigation is underway. The accused couple was taken into custody but their charges are pending.
Netflix recently released the crime docu-series 'Worst Roommate Ever', narrating the shocking roommate-related crimes that had happened across America and this story seems apt for it.
