The previous episode of 'Britannia' ended on a twisted note — at the beginning of yet another pursuit of Cait (Eleanor Worthington-Cox). Aulus (David Morrissey) refuses to back down. The prophecy that Veran (Mackenzie Crook) showed him early on in the previous season still threatens to take over his plans of colonising Britain.

But Aulus is no Julius Caesar who is going to get scared of the Druids' power and the mysteries of this unknown land. Aulus is here to capture this place and write his name all over Britannia's history. And after the discovery in the previous episode, he might just be able to do it.

Willa (Jodie McNee) arrives at the conclusion that Aulus is none other than Locca, the earth demon, himself. She hadn't been sure all this while, but when she does, Willa gives him clues to Cait's (possible) whereabouts.

Elsewhere in the previous episode, Cait and Divis (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) are gearing up for some friction. After Cait tells him about her vision about Harka (also played by Crook) from Episode 3, Divis goes into denial mode, refusing to acknowledge his return. But in the upcoming episode, it looks like this vision will finally get to him.

According to the synopsis of Episode 5, "Divis has a strange dream that causes tension between himself and Cait". There is hardly any doubt that this is because of Cait's vision about Harka — The Dead Man returning is no good news for anyone.

Back at the Romans' outpost, Aulus had sent Amena (Annabel Scholey) on a mission of his. She is to go to Isca, the capital of the Devni and present her sister Queen Andra with a proposal. If she is on board, well and good for her and her tribe, but if she is to revolt, Aulus said his men are going to be ready to make it happen.

Now clearly there are unresolved relations between Amena and her sister — that much was evident in the previous episode when Aulus explained his plans. We will finally get Amena's backstory — this one character has infuriated us ever since Season 1 and maybe we should know more about this woman whose ambitions knows no bounds.

'Britannia' airs on Epix on Sundays at 9/ 8c.
