Ladies and gents, it's time to dab and on that powder and don those suits as courting season is back with Netflix's addictive period drama 'Bridgeton' which officially returns for a fresh new chapter!

'Bridgerton' Season 2 will see the love life of the eldest sibling Anthony, thrown into focus after the first season revolved around Daphne and Simon. While the handsome Regé-Jean Page won't be returning as Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings, there's no reason to fret as we have many new beautiful and talented faces joining the cast, so read on to know who is bringing the chemistry in Season 2 of the blockbuster Netflix drama!

Simone Ashley as Kate Sharma

Simone Ashley born Simone Ashwini Pillai is an English actress born to Tamil Indian parents and hails from Camberly. Although she grew up in a household filled with Indian academics, she was always drawn more towards the artistic fields and grew up singing classical music, opera, and playing the piano. Her family later moved to Beaconsfield where Ashley attended Redroofs Theatre School in Maidenhead and later went on to train in acting at Arts Educational School in London.

Some of her works include 'Detective Pikachu', 'Wolfblood', 'Casualty', 'The Sister' and more. She is most popularly known for her role as Olivia Hananin Netflix's hit series 'Sex Education'. Bagging a role in 'Bridgerton', Simone will essay the romantic lead of newcomer Kate Sharma.



 

Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton

Jonathan Bailey is an English actor who began his acting career in 1995 when he played Tiny Tim in a theatre production of 'A Christmas Carol'. The actor quite early on had decided he wanted to pursue this job when at the age of five he saw a stage production of 'Oliver!'. So far he has acted in multiple theatre productions, movies, and television shows that include ' Doctor Who', 'Testament of Youth', 'Alice through the Looking Glass', 'Me and Mrs Jones', 'Girl with a Pearl Earring', 'Crashing', 'Leonardo' and more.

The talented actor has also won a 2019 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical for his portrayal of Jamie in the 2018 West End revival of 'Company'. Bailey plays Viscount Anthony Bridgerton, the eldest Bridgerton sibling and protagonist of the second installment of 'Bridgerton'.

The rest of the cast includes Phoebe Dynevor as Daphne Bridgerton, Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton, Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton, Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton, Luke Thompson as Benedict Bridgerton, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte and more. The new cast includes Charithra Chandran as Edwina Sharma, Shelley Conn as Mary Sharma, Calam Lynch as Theo Sharpe, and Rupert Young as Jack.

'Bridgerton' Season 2 is set to release on March 25, 2022. You can watch it on Netflix.
