'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 5 is reaching its end and so is Robert 'Rob' Westergaard and Jessica 'Jess' More's relationship. Or at least that's what it seems like from the preview clip.

It's been a few weeks since they have been issues. Jess first shared her concerns with Rob when his ex-girlfriend came into the picture. Rob was able to calm her down then but soon her worries were heightened by Aesha Scott's arrival. Ever since she joined the team, Rob has been friendly with her and there have been multiple occassions where Jess saw them get pally with each other.

What worsened the equation was Aesha touching Rob's butt during a photo op with the guests. Since then, the couple has been in a constant state of tension. At one point, it seemed that they were able to make peace with their differences but the next morning, Rob took up a job on another boat and ditched his plans of traveling to Bali.

Ever since then they have limited interaction. Even when the crew went out partying, Rob and Jess kept their distance. But their hearts ached for each other. While returning, Jess teared up, said he has his own demons and has dragged her into his mess. She even admitted to Malia White that she loved him.

Meanwhile, in the other car, Alex Radcliffe told Rob that he doesn't have to be manipulated into doing something he doesn't want to do. Rob had moist eyes by the time they reached the yacht. Malia hugged him, played agony aunt, and said that they have different wavelengths and that when working on a boat everyone gets involved, implying that those could the causes of why he and Jess are not getting along. Rob nodded in agreement, while Malia added that Jess loves him in her own way and that could be something he can look at.

Will Rob and Jess be able to come back to being in a happy relationship again? Time will tell. For now, catch 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 5 finale on October 12, Monday at 9/8c.
