Children, if raised the right way, will be well-mannered and will get along with anyone regardless of age. Sometimes, however, some children have no idea what good manners mean because their parents haven't taught them the right way to behave. This holds true, especially when taking your child out in public and there are some children who will learn only the hard way and from strangers.

One boy riding the New York City subway in November last year definitely knows what learning the hard way means. The boy was captured on camera taking up two seats on the train rather than one while leaning against his mother. His feet are up on the seat next to him and he looks to be engrossed in a video game on his phone, the Daily Mail reported.

The bratty child refused to move his legs even though three adults wanted to sit there. One unlikely hero, however, couldn't care less about the boy's behavior and sat down on his feet. The moment was captured on camera by a woman named Isabel Kim, who uploaded the images (and a video) on Twitter last year. She wrote: "This lil a**hole wouldn’t move his legs for 3 adults, so this guy comes and just SITS on his legs."

The first image shows the boy practically lying down on a seat on the New York City subway, with his back leaning up against his mother. On some of the trains, including the one the child was in, seats are not sectioned off individually but are basically long benches. It's a general rule amongst subway travelers that three people will be able to fit on each bench. The boy had his legs spread out with his feet on the bench.

In the second image, the boy looks to have moved a little further down the bench but still takes up two seats. That's when the fed-up man with sunglasses, who looked like he tried to get the boy to move but without any success, sits on the child's feet. The boy quickly tries to move his legs out of the way but one of his legs still gets caught under the man.

The third image, and frankly the most hilarious one, shows the boy looking up at the man, who stood up by the time to adjust himself, in complete horror at what had just happened. The last picture shows the child giving the man a dirty look with the man not caring one bit. The child definitely looks like he thinks he is the victim in this situation. Kim also took a video of the boy's mother yelling at him for missing their stop, rather than for being rude to other passengers.

According to the Twitter user, the child started using foul language with the man as he was leaving the train. She told the New York Post: "When they got off, he yelled, "F***! F*** you!" several times and stormed off." The internet seems to be largely in support of the man who sat on the boy's feet. The post has since been liked more than 136,000 times along with hundreds of comments praising the man for teaching the boy a lesson.

One user wrote: "Not all heroes wear capes." Another user added: "He has 0 s***s left to give and he is my blood brother." A third commented: "Subway etiquette is best taught nonverbally with force." A fourth said: "The subway is the great equalizer."
