'Boy Meets World' star Maitland Ward wants to make porn-spoofs of Hallmark's Zola ad, Peloton commercial

While Hallmark's ad featured two female brides kissing at the altar, the Peloton commercial showed a husband surprising his wife by gifting her an exercising bike on Christmas morning and causing her to gasp with shock and delight.

Maitland Ward, the former 'Boy Meets World' actress-turned-adult-film star, said that she could make pornographic spoofs of both Hallmark's Zola ad as well as the Peloton commercial, both of which came under fire for different reasons this month.

While Hallmark's ad featured two female brides kissing at the altar, the Peloton commercial showed a husband surprising his wife by gifting her an exercising bike on Christmas morning and causing her to gasp with shock and delight.

While the latter commercial was deemed sexist by a number of viewers, Hallmark was pelted with criticisms after it removed the Zola ad, forcing it to reinstate the same. Maitland said that the initial removal of the ad rubbed her the wrong way. "You know what? I've done plenty of lesbian stuff. So I love it. Of course, it was offensive to me," the 42-year-old actress said. "It didn't really surprise me that much but I'm happy that they put it back."

She agreed that the Zola ad could be turned into a porn parody. "You know, you could!" she told TMZ of the possibility.

After Zola said that it will not promote its brand on Hallmark anymore and the channel received backlash on social media following their removal of the same-sex ad, which included calls for boycotting their channel, Hallmark Cards CEO Mike Perry released a statement, apologizing for their mistake.

"The Crown Media team has been agonizing over this decision as we've seen the hurt it has unintentionally caused. Said simply, they believe this was the wrong decision," Perry said. "We are truly sorry for the hurt and disappointment this has caused."

He added that Hallmark will be "working with GLAAD to better represent the LGBTQ community" and will also reach out to Zola to reestablish its business partnership and reinstate the commercials.

When the Peloton commercial was brought up, she said that it had even more "potential" for an X-rated spoof. "Wait, let's do a Peloton porn!" she added.
