'Botched' Season 6: Lebanese pop star Sammy Hopes hopes to get his 'baklava-looking' nose fixed

Hopes says he feels his 'nose doesn't belong in his face' as 'it's not aesthetically pleasing'.

Lebanese pop star Sammy Hopes has never been confident with the way his nose looks as he says that he feels his "nose doesn't belong in his face". Comparing it to a "baklava", Sammy decided to approach Dr Paul Nassif and Dr Tim Dubrow to help him get his nose right. He further added, "It's a short nose. I don't have a bridge. The nostrils are very small, it's not aesthetically pleasing."

Sammy further revealed how he ended up with such a nose as he recalled an incident that took place when he was 25. In an unfortunate incident, Sammy smashed his face in the wall in Lebanon.

After the incident, doctors advised Sammy to reshape his nose so that it would look better. They decided to use a material called  Gore-Tex and hoped it would help give Sammy the perfect shape that he desires. Seeing his nose after the first surgery, Sammy confessed that he loved it and it gave him the confidence that he had been looking for.

However, things took turn for worse when one day Sammy decided to wax the hair that was growing out of his nose. Surprisingly, the waxing led to a messy and painful situation. "I went to the beautician, she actually like pulls the wax out. It was beyond painful," he said. "Days later, I started seeing something protruding out of my nose. It was Gore-Tex."

The area subsequently became infected which led to Sammy undergoing another surgery. However, Sammy was not happy with the results as he thought the new nose looked "deformed" and he was "horrified" to look at himself. Unfortunately, his nose started getting worse, leading to another surgery.

Sammy confessed that he has had a total of four surgeries and he hasn't been happy with the results. When Sammy decided to undergo another surgery for the fifth time he was reportedly told that nothing can be done. Coming to Dr Nassif and Dr Dubrow, Sammy hopes to turn things around this time.

Nassif decides to perform another surgery on Sammy but things seem difficult as the needle of the injection bends the second it comes in contact with Sammy's nose. However, he succeeds in the second attempt. Nassif was finally able to reconstruct Sammy's nose but added that he still needs to take care of it as there was a lot of blood that was lost and clogged in the nose. Luckily for Sammy the wait was worth it as things worked out for the best and he was finally happy with the nose he had.

'Botched' airs on Mondays at 10 pm on E!
