It's an AL East clash as table-toppers, Tampa Bay Rays take on the bottom-placed Boston Red Sox in a four-game series. Both teams are coming off drawn series. This is a season Boston will be looking to forget with an away record of 7-12 and have 29 losses to their name. The Rays, in the meantime, will be looking at getting back to winning ways against an underfire Boston at Tropicana Field. Here's everything you need to know ahead of their Game 2 clash.

Time

The game is slated to start at 6.40 pm ET on Thursday, September 10.

Venue

Both sides will meet at Tropicana Field, St Petersburg, Florida.

The game can be watched live on Fox Sports Sun and NESN. Fans can also listen to the live commentary on WEEI 93.7, WCCM 1490 AM/ 103.7 FM, WDAE 620 AM/95.3 FM, and WGES 680.

How to live stream?

Fans can catch the game on MLB.TV as well as the My Stream App. MLB.TV is still the most preferred app as it comes with a slashed price of $59.99 keeping in mind the shortened season. A complete subscription provides viewers with access to the full regular season, the playoffs and the World Series. Other options that viewers can look for is YouTube TV that gives access to ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, FS1, MLB Network and TBS at $64.99. Hulu and fuboTV have some similar options available.

Pre-game buzz

The Red Sox are still looking for that series win. They tied 1-1 with the Philadelphia Phillies and taking on a top-placed Rays poses a tough challenge. Alex Verdugo has led Boston with 47 hits and Xander Bogaerts with 43 behind him. Mike Kickham will be starting off for the Red Sox. This will be his first start since 2013 and has never faced the Rays before. 

Tampa Bay will be looking to consolidate after their tied series against the Washington Nationals. Josh Fleming will start the proceedings. Third baseman Yandy Diaz, who has stacked up 35 hits for the team is out with a hamstring injury.

Who will win?

Tampa Bay might have had a snag with the tied series against the Nationals, but they still come in as the dominant side compared to an underfire Red Sox who's playoff chances are all but over. Expect the Rays to walk away with this series.
