It took two OTs, but the Toronto Raptors had the final say in an exhaustive, yet exhilarating Game 6 between Toronto and the Boston Celtics. The latter lost narrowly as Toronto forced a Game 7 with a 125-122 win on Wednesday night. Kyle Lowry was the man for the Raptors with 33 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists and found able assistance in Norman Powell chipping in with 23 points.

While the big question is how much both teams have left in the tank, this win deserved celebrations, and Raptors fans took to Twitter lavishing praise on Lowry for his effort. "There needs to be a statue after his career is over #WeTheNorth," read one of the comments.

For some fans, all that slandering of Lowry over the years was something they seemed genuinely sorry about. "Dear @Klow7. I'm sorry for anything bad I ever said about you. What you did today defined a leader. You showed gigantic b****s. You put the team on your back. It was magnificent to watch. Thank you for all you've done and will do Friday #FinishThem #WeTheNorth," read a tweet.

"Kyle Lowry almost single-handedly dragged them to Game 7. What a player," a fan wrote.

And for some, he deserved more. "f Kyle Lowry doesn’t make hall of fame I will be visibly upset. He deserves everything," a fan wrote.

It was all happening in the second quarter as Lowry went red hot scoring his final points on a clutch fadeaway to make sure the Raptors edged the Celtics with a four-point lead. It looked like a Celtics game all the way when the first half was in progress. Jaylen Brown ended 31 points after putting in 21 in the first half. Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart played their parts with 20+ points. However, Smart's triple-double still wasn't enough to beat Lowry's heroics.

It was just a sensational game for some fans. "Boston and Toronto game 6 was magical and sensational to watch!! Haymakers coming from all angles! Give and take and once again Bulldog Kyle Lowry taketh Toronto to Game 7 vs Celtics!! #LovetheNBA"

"@Klow7 is a DOG he's not the most athletic guard but he continues to find a way to get it done the man is tuff as nails..helluva game to watch from start to finish!! Game 7 will be lit!" a fan reckoned.

Both sides will meet again on Friday for Game 7 with the winner facing off against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
