Joel Embiid was a disappointed man. The power forward has been absolutely sensational for the 76ers, but it just wasn't enough as lack of support from the team saw them go down 94-102 to the Celtics on Friday. With this, the Sixers find themselves in a soup as Boston now has an unassailable 3-0 lead. Embiid had 30 points and 13 rebounds to lead the 76ers, but it just wasn't enough. Sixers fans were absolutely livid and disappointed as they took to social media to share their thoughts on the game.

The NBA Central dished out some quick stats of the Sixers star and had one plea. The tweet read: "Joel Embiid in the first round so far: 30 points & 13 rebounds 34 points & 10 rebounds 26 points & 16 rebounds Philadelphia down 0-3. Get him some help."

Here's what ESPN's Ariel Helwani had to say. "Trust the Process Sixers era coming to end, most likely Sunday. Embiid doing his best to will them to victory but this just isn’t working. Wouldn’t be surprised if they blow it up. Also wouldn’t be surprised if they pack it in come Sun just to go home. I bet the bubble is taxing."

Talking about the loss, Embiid was a picture of disappointment. "It's tough (being down 3-0). It sucks when you play super-hard and try to do everything possible to win games - it's hard when you come up short. No one wants to be in this position." One of the fans just felt sorry about how it ended for Embiid. "I legitimately feel bad for Joel Embiid in this series," he wrote.

"The Sixers don't know how to get Embiid the ball. Also need more shooting. This one's on Brand for the roster construction" opined a fan who watched the game.

"I’m all for a reset this offseason. Fire Brett and Brand. Keep Ben, Embiid, anyone on their rookie contract, and Furkan. Everyone else is just pitiful to watch. Hope that the young guys can become something and actually use your f*cking draft picks," commented one of the fans.

For Celtics, it was a complete team effort as Kemba Walker scored 24 points, while Jaylen Brown chipped in with 21 points, and Jason Tatum added 15 to the tally. The two teams will meet again on Sunday for Game 4.
