'Bombshell' star Liv Hewson sheds light on 'Bombshell', her character Lily and Megyn Kelly. In an exclusive with MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), the Australian actor also shared her excitement about her upcoming projects. The film is based on the accounts of several women at Fox News who set out to expose CEO Roger Ailes for sexual harassment.

On her part, Hewson admitted she didn't know a lot about the Fox News scandal. "Very little, I knew next to nothing about it before I started," she explained. "I was surprised a lot by making the film and I was grateful we were able to make it and tell people about it."

Hewson played Lily Balin and the 'Santa Clarita Diet' star said her character wasn't directly based underneath one singular person. "Which kind of made things easy for me," she said.  "I could make more flexible choices as an actor and I didn’t have to worry about Lily saying it, but I suspect she was probably an amalgamation of a few people."

When asked if the movie had any inputs from Megyn Kelly (played by Charlize Theron) in the film, Hewson added that there wasn't any coming in from the journalist. "No, she didn’t. I think it was important that we make the film just as subjectively as possible".

Meanwhile, Hewson may have already sorted out her future projects.  "I don’t know what I’m allowed to talk about," she laughed. "I’m excited for this year, I’m always so greedy, I just want to be able to do a little bit of everything, so hopefully I can keep that up."

The film features an ensemble cast spearheaded by Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, and Margot Robbie and opened to positive reviews by fans and critics.
