Jake Keaton (Chad Donella) is back folks, there might be some semblance of hope for the cornered team of FBI fugitives.

In the latest episode of 'Blindspot', Madeline Burke (Mary Elizabeth) decides to bring in Kurt Weller's (Sullivan Stapleton) ex-wife Allie Knight (Trieste Kelly Dunn) into custody. She manipulates Allie to believe that she just wants to keep people safe and that Weller is a national threat. She compels Allie to make a tearful public announcement that Weller should turn himself in for the well-being of their daughter, Bethany. Allie complies, but gives a small sign to Weller at the conference, by pretending to wipe her tears. Weller picks up on this and so does someone else. At the end of the episode, we see Jake on the phone, saying that he got the signal and that they are in the 'endgame' now. Hopefully, this means good news for the team and he comes through for them. In the next episode, the team appears to be ambushed and seem to be bidding worrying goodbyes to each other.

Fans are excited to see Keaton and are sure that he and Ally are going to help the team in some way. How, we don't know. And of course, they were thrilled with the 'Endgame' reference.

"Okay, did #Blindspot just make an Avengers reference? The episode literally ended with, 'We're in the endgame now,'" a fan tweeted. "#Blindspot@BlindspotRoom how y'all jumping str8 2 endgame w/out an Infinity war warm-up?!?" another wrote. "'We’re in the endgame now' okay DOCTOR STRANGE," a fan tweeted. "'It's time to send the team another message. I hope you're ready. We're in the end game now,'" a fan quoted, sharing a shocked GIF.

"I cannot describe how much joy this scene brought me. literally seeing keaton sent me into cardiac arrest," a fan tweeted. "So Allie is possibly working with Keaton plus who ever else they have working with them there gonna come through for the team they have to #blindspot," another wrote. "I had a suspicion her hand gesture during the press conference was code for something. Thought Patterson might decipher it but it was for Keaton instead. This keeps getting good," a fan wrote. "Keaton to save the day!"

'Blindspot' airs on NBC on Thursdays at 9 pm.
