Madeline Burke strikes again. In the latest episode of 'Blindspot', Madeline Burke (Mary Elizabeth) murders Brianna (Amy Margaret Wilson) in cold blood for attempting to assist the team, while Matthew Weitz (Aaron Abrams) watches in horror. She warns him that if he tries to cross the line, he will face similar consequences. The episode ends with a weary Weitz telling Afrin that they cannot help the team anymore, and he has given up. Clearly, Weitz fears for his life as well as those around him because Madeline could do anything.

Brianna's death came as a shock to fans. This is the second death of the season after Madeline's drone strike killed Edgar Reade (Rob Brown) in the premiere. While praying that there are no more deaths, fans are hoping that the team puts an end to Madeline's diabolical regime soon. Creator Martin Gero tweeted, "RIP Brianna #Blindspot Brianna was played by the wonderful Amy Margaret Wilson who has worked with us since season one! Thank you Amy!"

Fans were upset with him and responded to the tweet, "I cannot deal with this anymore." Another fan wrote,"#Blindspot Wtf!!! I hate Madeline Burke!!!!! Why Brianna!!!!! She didn't have to die!!!! Now she is on to Weitz, my this woman, dam this woman!!!" Another fan wept, "Brianna’s dead omg this show is killing me." One more tweeted, "WHYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!? Just as we were starting to actually get to know her character, she gets killed off... WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK!!!!!!" Fans hope that Madeline has a painful death. "Ooh madeline has to die a slow and painful death, man," a fan tweeted.

Meanwhile, the next episode seems to promise several zingers as well, as the team is ready for battle, and we see Reade. Or is it Tasha's hallucinations? Tasha has been having severe PTSD and is having nightmarish flashbacks to Reade's death and the drone strike. What has Madeline planned now for the team? It doesn't help that Gero tweeted that there are more deaths to come. As long as none of the main team members and Weitz die, fans are somewhat at peace.

Tune into 'Blindspot', NBC on Thursdays, 9pm.
