‘The Voice’ Season 20: Meet judges Nick Jonas, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend of NBC's reality show

Fifteen-year-old Carter Rubin of Gwen Stefani’s team lifted the trophy of ‘The Voice’ Season 19, making him the youngest male contestant ever to win the show. The season ended in December 2020 but good news for all the viewers — the singing reality show is all set to come back for its next season.

Yes, Season 20 of ‘The Voice’ is all set to premiere on March 1, 2021, on NBC. Season 19 was nothing short of perfection. We saw a range of incredibly talented contestants, impeccable coaching by the judges and all the possible twists we could imagine from a singing reality show. In a nutshell, the last season was great. If we talk about the judges on Season 20, we will see Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend returning to their duties. However, country singer Gwen Stefani won’t be coming back this time. Nick Jonas is making his come back to the show replacing Gwen on the big red chair.

Blake Shelton 

Blake Shelton is the only remaining original coach on ‘The Voice’. The Country music legend has won ‘The Voice’ for a record seven times. In the earlier seasons, we saw the crooner lifting the trophy with artists such as Todd Tilghman, Sundance Head, Craig Wayne Boyd, Danielle Bradbery, Cassadee Pope, Chloe Kohanski and Jermaine Paul. The 44-year-old singer came out as a winner in Seasons 2,4,7,11, 13 and 18.

Kelly Clarkson 

Kelly Clarkson is one of the most familiar judges from the singing reality show. She has been taking over the responsibilities of judging the contestants since Season 14. She is a three-time winner on the show with singers namely Brynn Cartelli, Chevel Shepherd and Jake Hoot. Kelly won Seasons 14, 15 and 17 of ‘The Voice.’ She rose to fame in 2002 after winning the first season of ‘American Idol.’

John Legend 

John Legend, who is considered as one of the top R&B singers in the world, was roped in as a judge on the renowned singing reality show in Season 16 and he has taken over the big red chair ever since. Season 20 will mark John Legend’s fifth time as a coach. Interestingly, he won his first season on the show with Maelyn Jarmon. For the unversed, Legend also appeared as Team Adam Levine’s battle advisor on Season 12.

Nick Jonas 

The youngest Jonas Brother is replacing Gwen Stafani as a judge on 'The Voice’ season 20. The announcement was made in November 2020 for the same. Season 20 will be Nick Jonas’ second stint as a coach on ‘The Voice’. A short video was also dropped by NBC to make the big announcement where we saw Kelly, Legend and Shelton having fun with Nick Jonas backstage. The talented crooner previously judged Season 18.
