Charmaine Walker and Van Johnson of 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago' share a murky past that has continued to haunt them. Although the 2nd City Ink owner claims that she has put the rumors behind her, there's a part of her that possibly still feels troubled.

On today's episode, when Van entered the shop, everyone was left shocked because Charmaine and he hadn't spoken in six months. He was being a complete gentleman by offering his condolences after the death of her mother, Glenda Walker. In his green-room interview, he acknowledged that seeing Charmaine having to deal with so much - with her mother's passing away and her pregnancy - it made him feel conscious of all that had transpired between them.

While chatting in her office cabin, he offered an apology and came out with the complete truth. He revealed how the day they were in Vegas, Don Brumfield had called and kept saying things, which he didn't deny and that led to Don assuming that the two had had sex.

Charmaine burst into tears knowing it but also shared how attacked she felt when everyone around her kept talking about the sex rumor. Van did ask for forgiveness, now and later, but in her confessional, the boss lady was not willing to bury the hatchet. She was not only upset about the gossip but was also livid with all the boys who were responsible for spreading it. No prizes for guessing that she didn't entertain Don when he had visited her house in Chicago upon learning of her mother's death.

What was the rumor all about?

Don spread the rumor that when Charmaine and Van were in Las Vegas, they slept together. He claimed Van had given him that information and he had simply passed it on to the production. Charmaine may not be willing to let go of the past, but fans are all praise for Van for being man enough to walk up to her and accept his mistakes.

"I would forgive him it was rumors, yes it hurts but van own what he did and clear what happen," a fan wrote, while another shared: "Yes I would forgive him cause one life is short and we don’t know when our time is coming so Charmine gonna stop being petty and forgive Van Anf let it go for the sake of @vh1 petty things like grudges is stupid."
