Release date

‘Black Ink Crew: Chicago’ Season 6 will return from its mid-season break on July 6, Monday, on VH1.

The sixth season of ‘Black Ink Crew: Chicago’ will see Ryan Henry face a bit of a trouble in his business at 9Mag, when the studio’s former tattoo artist Charmaine, who got laid off in the last season, opens her own female-run shop in the Windy City. Charmaine will be seen collaborating with the globally established tattoo artist Jessica Simpson.

But competing with the new studio isn’t the only problem Ryan will be seen facing in the upcoming season. After using his profession as a distraction from his sister’s death, Ryan will finally be seen considering therapy to battle his mental issues. Ryan's fellow tattoo artist and friend Phor ensures his mental health receives the right care.
