We all have seen and known the friendship Charmaine Walker shares with Ryan Henry, Don Brumfield and Phor Brumfield. However, it all fell apart when a rumor of Charmaine and Van Johnson getting intimate in Las Vegas started doing the rounds.

She was livid when she learned about it and had questioned everyone about it. Charmaine was left furious when she was informed that it was Dan who had gone to town with the gossip and as a reaction to it, she broke off all ties with her three friends from 9mag.

While Don and Phor weren't in sight every time Charmaine interacted with Ryan, the latter was able to resolve some of the issues between them and move forward.

When her mother, Glenda Walker, passed away, Ryan was the first to arrive at her home in Chicago to comfort her. He had even arranged a property on rent in New Orleans for all of Charmaine's 2nd City Ink employees to live in while they attend the funeral.

He was extremely affectionate towards her and showed real interest in taking his and Charmaine's relationship back to where it was.

However, that journey was cut short by Ryan's newspaper quotes, in which he categorically said that his shop and Charmaine's tattoo parlor are not on par.

Even though it was her baby shower, Charmaine decided to confront Ryan about it and made it clear that she found it extremely disappointing that he would go behind her back and give quotes to the papers.

In this week's episode of 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago,' Charmaine, Ryan, Don and Phor come to terms with the fact that they still share a bond that cannot be neglected but that came after a heavy episode of argument.

When Charmaine learns that Draya has been guest spotting at 9mag, she walks up to Ryan to question his motives. However, Ryan is in no mood to assure her that he doesn't want to steal her artists.

While they are having a conversation, Phor and Don enter the scene wanting to clear their stand on the Van-Charmaine rumor. However, she says how them not having her back had gotten her so upset and adds that it felt as though she was not being taken seriously.

What hurt Charmaine the most was knowing that people whom she called friends were actively participating in furthering a baseless gossip.

However, she was able to appreciate Don and Phor for coming in with an apology and saying that they missed her. The four of them hugged it out and solved their differences for now, but will it stay for long. We'll know after the show returns from its mid-season break.
