Charmaine Walker's tattoo shop, 2nd City Ink, is in shambles. After a major argument over Miss Kitty joining the team, Jessica tells Charmaine that she'll leave the shop and city.

Jess was already put off by Charmaine's decision to offer Kitty to work with her. In her green-room interview, Jess clearly stated that she was disappointed with Charmaine and her taking hiring-related calls without consulting her. And the way she was when around with Kitty at the post-funeral (Glenda Walker's) get-together at a pub, it was clear she wasn't going to let it go easy. Jess even threw herself on Ryan Henry, made risque jokes trying to dissuade Kitty from coming to Chicago. Just for context, there have been rumors about how Ryan and Kitty were really close at one time and dating. Both have denied it and from what it looks like, they share a great friendship.

When Kitty finally arrived, she ruffled a few feathers. Jessica is not one bit pleased but tried to have a mature conversation about her role at 2nd City Ink, to which Kitty said that she'd be managing the store. It came as a rude shock because that's why Jessica was hired. However, she chose to keep quiet until Charmaine arrived. Until then, Kitty gathered the employees to tell them how she wished to get a structure going for the shop.

In trying to understand how the shop functions, Kitty found out that 2nd City Ink wasn't considering walk-ins at all and that can put a serious dent on the business. She stated in clear terms that there would be no lounging about and artists will have to take in walk-ins customers because that was the only way to up their game. Later, Kitty brought in dividers and got made branded T-shirts to change the scene around a bit.

Even though Charmaine was happy to see the shake-up in the shop, Jessica had a bone to pick with her. And everyone knew it was coming. She was visibly upset with Charmaine for having hired Kitty and given her a position that was originally hers. However, fans think Jess is jealous and insecure of Kitty and her reaction was totally not needed at the time.

"Jess kit is a brand ambassador she's managing the brand she's trying to make money just like you trying to make money. It's room for both beautiful powerful women. Charmaine needs all the help and she doesn't need this now #BlackInkCHI," a fan wrote. "I really don't understand what Jess problem is. I didn't like Kitty's attitude, but she is making some valid points. Walk-ins is a great thing as it means more money in the shop. Y'all should promote your jobs on social media. Dividers are needed too. #BlackInkChi," another user expressed. "Y’all can’t tell me that jess is not jealous cuz she has an issue with kit the first time she set foot in chi town for Charmaine’s moms funeral but got mad when kit wasn’t feeling them like that #BlackInkCHI," a viewer shared.
