'Black Ink Crew: Chicago' is setting up for a major plot twist and it's majorly around Charmaine, her wedding and the shop — 2nd City Ink.

She is already in flux about how to tackle the workplace romance that's brewing between two of her best tattoo artists — Zach and Draya. And to make matters worse for her, Fly Tatted will be shown receiving an offer to join 9mag (Ryan's shop).

Quite obviously, when Fly elaborates on how Ryan hinted at a possibility of an opening at 9mag for him, Charmaine couldn't handle it and straight-up confronted Ryan.

However, Ryan completely denied the claims saying he would never want to steal her artist. We all know how Charmaine has been living with a lot of baggage and so, it's very natural for her to vent out when someone tries to steal her thunder.

However, she's not the one to be bogged down. Amid all the chaos, she finds time to go for a round of wedding shopping with her mother and girls.

While trying on some dresses at the store, she even twerked wearing one. It's unfortunate that Charmaine's mother passed away earlier this month and didn't live to see the filmed episode. It was exciting to see how thrilled she was to have the wedding and hold the baby (Charmaine is due in March 2020).

For those coming in new, Charmaine used to be part of 9mag, but she left it to set up her own business to settle some old scores, or was it?

At 9mag, she was continuously mocked at and made fun of for being less capable than the male artists at the shop. This didn't go down well with her, following which she decided to make her exit.

Meanwhile, Ryan was shown to be struggling on the personal front (his strained relationship with Rachel and his son) and Charmaine was happy doing her own thing, starting afresh.

Right from the start of the season, she was very sure of her path and future as a women entrepreneur. Helping her in her journey is Jessica, who is a co-partner of 2nd ink city with Charmaine.
