'Black Ink Crew: Chicago': Fans praise Neek for being Charmaine's 'support system' as she recalls her mother

Even though Neek couldn't be around when the news broke, he had a heart-to-heart with Charmaine later in the day assuring her that he'd be there to support her and the family.

To find a partner who loves and understands you like no other is a blessing. Charmaine has that in Neek.

This week's episode of 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago' was devastating for its cast members, especially Charmaine who lost her mother, Glenda Walker, to a heart attack. But she's lucky to have a friend in Ryan and a doting husband in Neek.

Even though Neek couldn't be around when the news broke, he had a heart-to-heart with Charmaine later in the day assuring her that he'd be there to support her and the family. When the radio artist said she would want to be in Louisiana for the funeral in good spirits just to be by her father, Neek understood and listened quietly as she shared how much she and her father had been crying.

Neek and Glenda shared a very unique bond and a deep relationship, which was why he could grasp every little thought that came out of Charmaine. "I think he's excited that we are coming home today. He kinda needed to be alone for a second. They've been married for 30 plus years. Just talking to my dad, he has like the same emotions as me like mama was gone too soon like she wasn't supposed to, this wasn't supposed to happen this way," she told Neek, who pacified her, said it may not get easier from here on out but they have to keep celebrating mama Glenda every day.

Charmaine wanted Glenda to see her baby like any daughter would. But now that she's not around, it's making Charmaine feel a lot of different emotions. She wants her baby to know Glenda well and Neek agrees to be with her on it, assuring her that Glenda's send-off will be a beautiful one too.

The episode closed with the two embracing each other, and the viewers cannot believe how much of a perfect couple they are. And that Charmaine is lucky to have Neek in her life.

"I’m so happy that @charmainej_tv has Neek there to support her cause he seems like such a great support system through everything she’s been through on the show. I’m preaching for y’all as your family #BlackInkCHI," a user wrote. While another tweeted: "Neek is so good for Charmaine. Thank God she found him.  #BlackInkChi." "I love Charmaine and Neek relationship. They’re so adorable and cute together #blackinkcrew #BlackInkCrewCHI #BlackInkCHI," a viewer wrote.

In other news, Neek and Charmaine are expecting a baby girl in March this year, whom they'll name Nola Glenda Bey (after Charmaine's late mother).
