'Black Adam' LEAKED credit scene confirms Henry Cavill's return as Superman, fans glad 'he won at the end'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Black Adam' has been hotly anticipated since its announcement; although DC has been struggling this year, the new regime is making fans quite delighted as they got to see their favorite superhero, Superman, in the leaked credit video of the new DC film.

The character was first introduced in the DC universe in 1945 and was created by Otto Binder and CC Beck. If you are a huge DC fan, we are sure you know that Black Adam has endured as one of the archenemies of Captain Marvel and Shazam and the Marvel Family (aka Shazam Family) in the comics.

Originally, Black Adam was depicted as a supervillain and the ancient Egyptian predecessor of Captain Marvel, who fought his way to modern times to challenge the hero and his Marvel Family associates. Since the turn of the 21st century, however, Black Adam has been redefined by DC Comics writers Jerry Ordway, Geoff Johns, and David S Goyer as a corrupted antihero attempting to clear his name and reputation. However, the Dwayne Johnson movie is a spin-off from 'Shazam!' (2019) and the 11th film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).

The project is being produced by New Line Cinema, DC Films, Seven Bucks Productions, and FlynnPictureCo, while it is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Adam Sztykiel. The film stars Dwayne Johnson as the titular character alongside Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell, Bodhi Sabongui, and Pierce Brosnan. Though it is yet to be released in the US, it already premiered in Mexico City on October 3. A video of the credit scene in the movie was released by a user confirming Henry Cavill's cameo in the film. Fans immediately lost their calm, and even in the video fans could be heard screaming as Cavill made his appearance. 

A fan said, "The old regime of WB is the most vicious evil to #HenryCavillSuperman glad that #HenryCavill won in the end," while another fan added, "Welcome Home Henry Cavill Superman... My eyes filled with tears can't wait to see you in theatre Thanks Alot @TheRock #BlackAdam #HenryCavillSuperman."

A fan tweeted, "The #Superman of our generation would stop at nothing to do right by the character. So proud to be his fan! Soooo fired up for what the future holds. #HenryCavillSuperman #BlackAdam," while another fan commented, "Welcome Home... Henry Cavill Superman Is Coming Home In DC... Can't thanks enough to @TheRock So excited to see him back."

A fan expressed, "I saw the leak and #HenryCavillSuperman is in his prime! He looks unbelievably awesome." 

A fan wrote, "To much screaming and prooves the point it does not matter he is back #henrycavillsuperman is the center stone of the Justice league the one Snyder envisioned !!! this is a Win!!!!"

The synopsis of the film reads, "Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods and imprisoned just as quickly-Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world."

'Black Adam' is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 21, 2022 by Warner Bros Pictures in theaters near you.
