Is Bill Barr next to be Covid-19 positive? Pics with Kellyanne Conway go viral: ‘Wipes nose then shakes hands’
The coronavirus wave has spread like wildfire among White House officials as many were confirmed for a positive test. The fiasco began with US President Donald Trump's top advisor Hope Hicks. The White House learned about her exposure to the disease on Thursday, October 1, 2020, as Trump was leaving for a fundraiser in New Jersey, Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said on Friday, October 2.
Nonetheless, the Trump campaign decided to move forward with the fundraiser despite being aware of the dangers of Covid-19. Their worst fears soon came true as the president confirmed he and his wife, Melania Trump, had contracted the virus. "Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!" he wrote.
A series of positive tests followed suit: Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway, Trump's campaign manager Bill Stepien, Utah Senator Mike Lee, North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis, Chairwoman of the RNC Ronna McDaniel, Notre Dame President Jenkins, three White House reporters and 11 staffers from Cleveland debate confirmed that they had been infected with the disease. Now, people on Twitter can't stop wondering if United States Attorney General William Pelham Barr is next in line after he was spotted speaking to Conway.
The fact that Kellyanne Conway had contracted Covid-19 was first disclosed by her teen daughter Claudia in a TikTok video. “My mom coughing all around the house after Trump tested positive for Covid,” she wrote in the first video calling it "weird and suspicious." Soon after, she confirmed the news as she sat with a mask on. "I'm furious. Wear your masks. Don't listen to our idiot f*****g president piece of s**t. Protect yourself and those around you," she added. In a third clip, Claudia captioned the post, “All for the stupid Amy Coney Barrett thing,” and said, “My mom two weeks ago: It’ll be fine. Masks are stupid.” She then cut to another clip that read, “Infects the whole family.” During the event, Kellyanne was seen talking closely with Bill Barr in the Rose Garden.
Confirming the news, Kellyanne wrote: “Tonight I tested positive for Covid-19. My symptoms are mild (light cough) and I’m feeling fine. I have begun a quarantine process in consultation with physicians. As always, my heart is with everyone affected by this global pandemic.” In no time, Twitter was buzzing with photos of her standing close to Barr speculating if he had contracted the disease too. However, Barr tested negative for Covid-19 on Friday, October 2, 2020, a Department of Justice spokesperson told MSNBC. "He was not experiencing symptoms but tested out of an abundance of caution," the report read.
As the photos from Rose Garden where Trump announced Seventh US Circuit Court Judge Amy Coney Barrett, 48, as his nominee to the Supreme Court rolled out all over the micro-blogging site, people predicted Barr could be "the next one." A filmmaker by the name of Morgan J Freeman blatantly tweeted, "Bill Barr next?" Another user penned down, "That’s it, if Bill Barr is next I’m lighting off fireworks."
"Is AG Bill Barr next in the #COVID19 Rose Garden shuffle?" one said and another one chimed in, "Bill Barr inches away from the #COVID19 infected Kellyanne Conway at the Rose Garden event." A third wrote, "What’s the status of Bill Barr? He was front and center on Super Spreader Saturday." And yet another user wrote: "Maskless Bill Barr wipes his nose then shakes hands."

Meanwhile, Trump — who is one of the biggest world leaders to be diagnosed with the virus just weeks ahead of the election — was administered an antibody cocktail, along with vitamins, and is fatigued with a low-grade fever.
