Big Tony says it's 'difficult' to watch daughter Rachel Recchia's jounrey on 'The Bachelorette', fans laud his self-control
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rachel Recchia's journey on 'The Bachelorette' Season 19 was anything but easy. The show's fans couldn't help but feel concerned as the 26-year-old pilot kept crying in almost every episode of the dating show.
While it was uncomfortable for fans to watch Rachel getting grilled by Tino Franco's parents, later getting cheated on by him, and all the while being subject to gaslighting and emotional manipulation by him, it was a pretty daunting experience for her family, as well. During the recently aired 'After the Final Rose' special, Rachel's parents were present to show their support for their dear daughter. The show's host Jesse Palmer asked Rachel's father Big Tony how he felt watching his daughter's journey on the ABC dating show. Big Tony simply replied saying it was very "difficult" for him to see all the things Rachel was put through.
Throughout the 3-hour special episode the cameras kept zooming in on Big Tony's face as Tino continued to hurt Rachel with his words. 'The Bachelorette' fans began hoping for Big Tony to storm onto the stage and beat up Tino for hurting his daughter. A fan tweeted, "I want Big Tony to just throw Tino over his shoulder and take him out of the studio #thebachelorette." "Big Tony beat him up!!! No one would stop you!!! OMG!! I'm just glad @pilot__rachel removed herself from the situation #thebachelorette," wrote a fan. "I’m tired of hearing Tino say nothing BRING OUT BIG TONY WITH THE STEEL CHAIR #thebachelorette," echoed a fan.

But when Big Tony remained calmly seated, fans were in awe of the restraint he displayed towards Tino. A fan shared, "I wish I had HALF the Self Control as big Tony has to not get up and walk over to beat the ever living daylights out of Tino #TheBachelorette." "Big Tony is actively restraining himself from tearing Tino apart like sheet of paper. #TheBachelorette," joked a fan. "Big Tony is showing a lot of restraint here. #thebachelorette #bachelorette," seconded a fan.
