LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Bachelorette' Season 19 star Rachel Recchia was subjected to much backlash when she decided to dump her suitor Aven Jones because he wasn't entirely ready to get engaged to her. The 28-year-old sales executive admitted to Rachel's friends that he wasn't yet ready to take the next step with Rachel, but wanted to continue working on their relationship.

A very impatient Rachel dumped him and decided to get engaged to Tino Franco instead. Unfortunately, the engagement didn't turn out to be the "happily-ever-after" scenario that the pilot was envisioning for herself. Soon after the filming for the dating show wrapped up, Rachel and Tino began having several problems in their relationship, including him cheating on her. So, the 'After the Final Rose' special was pretty explosive when Rachel and Tino came face-to-face for the first time after their breakup. After a very intense confrontation session, Rachel got her much-deserved break when the show's host Jesse Palmer revealed that one of Rachel's suitors was very insistent about speaking to her. Aven then walked onto the stage and asked Rachel if she wanted to get out and "catch up with him". While Tino sat in shock, Rachel replied saying she wanted nothing more than that, and offered a hug to Aven. The duo then walked off the show mid filming leaving Jesse and Tino puzzled.

After watching Aven and Rachel leave together, 'The Bachelorette' fans had several strong feelings about it, while also wondering if it meant that the couple were finally dating. Jesse too alluded to it by announcing that Rachel may finally have gotten her happy ending after all. Several fans were left amused with Rachel leaving the show with Aven as her date and not without an engagement ring. A fan tweeted, "I’m deceased. All of this for Rachel and Aven to potentially end up just dating. This is why this show is such tv gold. #TheBachelorette." "Ok like amazing for her for real, BUT also like ok, NOW Rachel is going to accept dating Aven and not getting a ring from him?!? #TheBachelorette," wrote a fan. "So Aven getting what he wanted in the first place. A chance to keep dating Rachel with a strong possibility of marriage and children #TheBachelorette," observed a fan.

'The Bachelorette' fans however don't seem to be big fans of Aven and Rachel's relationship. Many fans took to Twitter to point out how he was too good for Rachel. A fan shared, "I always tell myself I’m not going to get sucked into #TheBachelorette but here we are. Rachel=master manipulator. Was never a fan. My BS detector is strong, girl! That convo with Tino? Don’t get me wrong, he’s no prize but their truth is somewhere in the middle. Run, Aven, run!" "I feel bad for Rachel, but ABC just publicly bullied Tino on live tv & TBH it seems there's a lot more to the story - they weren't even SPEAKING for weeks before this incident happened so.... there's that + Aven is too good for her and should run far away #TheBachelorette," added. a fan. "That was soo set up. Even if Rachel were to start dating Aven, it is going to pretty much be a rebound. She needs time after all the press and stuff to heal from everything. #thebachelorette," expressed a fan.
