When it comes to creepy men, 'Big Sky' hands them out like toffees. In the first episode, we thought that state trooper Legarski was weird for sure, but we didn't know that he was capable of murder. He shot Cody Hoyt (Ryan Phillippe) in the head, because he had just figured out the links between the church cults and the abduction of the girls. Following which, he calls Ronald Pergman and tells him, "you've been sloppy!"

Obviously, Ronald is not carrying out his perverted abductions alone, there's more at hand, and as the show goes on, we'll find out who else is on this. Fans have come up with numerous theories and much speculation and are wondering if Legarski is Ronald's father. Ronald has a creepy relationship with his mother, something quite similar to Norman and Norma Bates in Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho'.

"Maybe the sheriff’s ex-wife is Ronalds’s creepy mom? And she’s the secretary’s cousin? I feel like it works, they all are creepy AF and give me bad vibes #BigSky," a fan tweeted. "Yes - posted that earlier. My thought, too. Thought maybe Trooper is Ronald's dad? Creepy mom is Troopers ex? #BigSky," another wrote. Meanwhile, there are suspicions about the secretary as well, as viewers feel that she is rather sketchy. "I really want Denise to just be small town blind to the bad guy but...... she's looking a lil sketchy #bigsky," one fan wrote. "Denise better not be in on it! #BigSky," another wrote. "The state trooper is a sadistic piece of crap. And delusional. Someone needs to traffick his tail to prison. Smh #Big," a fan wrote.

'Big Sky' is an adaptation of CJ Box's books. Fans who haven't read the books weren't prepared for Cody Hoyt's (Ryan Phillippe) death in the first episode itself. "As Box explained to Crime Reads, the decision to kill off Cody was a twist he decided on as he was writing — and some readers still aren't happy about it. "I thought, no one will be prepared for what happens next," he said. "Over the years, I’ve heard many, many comments from readers about that twist. Most say they read that seminal page three or four times to make sure it actually happened. Some readers simply got angry with me and they’re still angry with me. Oh well."

'Big Sky' airs on ABC, Tuesdays at 10 pm.
