Big Sean released his fifth studio album ‘Detroit2’ on Friday, September 4, which got a lot of positive reviews from the critics and thumbs up from his fans. Continuing the promotions of his new album, Big Sean logged into his official Twitter account for a QnA session with the #AskBigSean. Interestingly, the QnA session also revealed another important information. During the chat, the American singer-songwriter also spilled the beans on starting his own music label after ‘Detroit2’. Sean is currently signed to Kanye West’s label GOOD Music. The ‘Bounce Back’ hit-maker also shared that Eminem was the last person to come on board for the song ‘Friday Night Cypher’ which is one of the most liked songs from his new album.

Big Sean also most recently sat for a brief interview with Apple Music where revealed how he almost quit music before ‘Detroit2’. He stated, “At one point, I thought I was done. I was like, maybe I shouldn’t even be doing music anymore. Maybe I did it, and that’s it. But then I was like, no. Once I started taking care of myself, I started thinking of things differently. I started approaching songs differently. And I had that hunger back, you know. I was hungry. I’m hungry on these songs.” Big Sean’s new album features guest verses from hip-hop stalwarts like Eminem, Royce Da 5’9, late Nipsey Hussle and Lil Wayne among others.
